Our Story

Every product at Ragdogg exists because of one very special dog.

Ragdogg was created in Scotland, inspired by Bonnie — a rescue Golden Retriever who came into my life and changed everything.

Like many dog owners, I wanted products I could genuinely trust. Products made with care, thoughtfully chosen, and free from unnecessary toxins and chemicals. Too often, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So I decided to create the kind of brand I wished already existed.

This is Bonnie's story. And it's the story of why Ragdogg exists.

Bonnie's Timeline

Photographs and memories, from the day she came home to today.

The First Time I Saw Bonnie - September 2018

This was the very first photograph I ever saw of Bonnie. My niece, who worked at a rescue centre, shared a post looking for someone to adopt her. There were lots of people interested, but when I said, "I'd love to have her," my niece fought hard to make sure Bonnie came home with me. I will be forever grateful to her for bringing us together.

It was love at first sight.

What I didn't know then was that Bonnie would rescue me just as much as I rescued her. She came into my life when I needed her most and, without realising it, changed it forever.

Whenever I look at this photograph, the words of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face always come to mind.

Welcome Home, Bonnie - 16th October 2018

This was Bonnie's very first day at home. She arrived with a toy birdie by her side and the biggest smile on her face—as if she'd always belonged here.

Looking back at this photograph, it's hard to believe we'd only just met. It already felt as though she'd been part of my life forever.

Little did I know, that toy birdie would become the beginning of a lifelong obsession!

Our First Barefoot Walk Together - 17th February 2019

Bonnie and I had been together for four months when this photograph was taken. It was February and my very first barefoot walk of the year. We were both smiling from ear to ear.

There's something magical about feeling the sand beneath your feet after a long winter, and sharing that moment with Bonnie made it even more special.

Looking at this photograph now, I can see two souls who were simply happy to have found one another. Life was good.

Christmas Day - Loch Lomond 2019

Beautiful Bonnie at stunning Loch Lomond. She has never been a swimmer, only a paddler—and that's exactly the way she likes it.
